Made of  100% cotton twill weave, unbleached prefold cloth diapers are soft, durable and highly absorbent.  These luxurious Indian cotton diapers are incredibly soft and absorbent and become softer with every wash. Prefolds can be pinned, fastened with a Snappi, or simply folded into thirds and placed in a Bummis cover. Premium (regular sized) prefolds can be used on the average baby from birth through to toddler, depending on how you fold them. Most parents do prefer to use 2 sizes - Infant sized prefolds on their newborns, for a more customized fit and less bulk, and Premium prefolds on their older baby. If you are new to cloth diapering, and you are using your cloth diapers on a newborn, you may also find it easier to get a snug fit with smaller sized prefolds, which will help to contain leaks better. Generally you will be able to use Infant sized prefolds for 4-6 months, depending on the growth of your baby. After this time, Infant prefolds make GREAT doublers for overnight, naps and longer periods between changing, so they will not go to waste. Unless you are on a very tight budget, we still recommend parents invest the small amount into having two sizes which will give you a better fitting system with less bulk, overall. The end result is a a better cloth diapering experience for everyone.

 

 

 You will need to wash on hot several times to remove the natural oils that are present and get the maximum absorbancy. As with all prefolds these will shrink 5-10%.
